@The_Macallan too! #BusArchConf24
We're looking forward to taking part in this tomorrow!

Amazing photographs from @HE_Archive but did you know that the first @Guardian staff photographer Walter Doughty was a pioneer of aerial photography?
See more about his work including capturing Blackpool from the air in 1919 here: theguardian.com/gnm-archive/…

It was lovely to introduce visitors from @PaulMellonCentr to our #archives this morning. Looking forward to a return visit later in the year!
It's the anniversary of @guardian moving day again! The paper also moved into its new Farringdon Road offices #OTD in 1976.
#OTD in 1970 the @guardian left its #Manchester office in Cross Street. It was the end of an era
– the building had been the paper's home since the 1860s.
In June, @gdn_foundation held it's annual event. As part of this the Archive team created a video detailing the work it does as part of the foundation preserving the history of the newspaper. Have a look below!

A huge thanks to this week's volunteers Darcie and Ella who have done a fantastic job helping to repackage and catalogue our Guardian picture library, Les Gibbard and Katharine Whitehorn collections.
Great to see the importance and value of archives being highlighted in the @guardian today
