10. Ban the spammers.
Fortnite permanently bans cheaters. UEFN should do the same with spammers.
Let creators report with proof, have a human review it, and hide the account from Discover. A few moderators and two months is all it takes.
Then every tool removed “because of abuse” can come back.
Final thoughts.
Everything in this thread points to the same conclusion: Discover rewards those who are already visible, and it does so at the expense of everyone else.
New maps deserve a fair evaluation. Rankings should reflect how players engage, not how many were sent there. Opportunities should be open to all creators, not only to the ones Epic already knows. And the tools that once helped creators grow should return, with the abuse handled directly instead of removed for everyone.
None of this requires reinventing Discover. It requires deciding what Discover is for: surfacing the best games, or protecting the biggest ones.
If the current direction holds, creators will leave. Not out of frustration, but because the economics no longer work. It’s already difficult for established creators. For those starting today, it’s close to impossible.
@FNCreate, the community wants to help. Involve us in these decisions, and listen to what we have to say.
