Today is @spocuaw’s 7th day on the picket line, as the first postdoc researchers in the private sector to walk out on strike.
As @ShawnFainUAW said, “You produce scientific breakthroughs, so you deserve record gains. Groundbreaking research should mean groundbreaking contracts.”

With #1DayToGo for our strike, I want to share some data for those only receiving sporadic emails from @GradSchoolSinai Deans. Since 10/4/22, @IcahnMountSinai met with @spocuaw for a total of 67hrs of bargaining. That's less than 3% of working hours at their disposal. 1/10

Conclusion: NYC postdocs are dissatisfied with the combination of low salaries and high cost of living in NYC.

Authors show that absence of Sec22b in plasma cells abrogates the humoral immune response!
