Virginia law prohibits carrying firearms in certain state-owned buildings, like highway rest stops and ABC stores.
GOF and @GunOwners are challenging these restrictions in court. Virginians shouldn’t have to surrender their rights to enter a government building.
The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act was a SELLOUT by the likes of @JohnCornyn and @JoeBiden.
Among many things, it subjected 18-to-20-year-olds to delayed background checks and waiting periods.
GOF and GOA are suing to end these unconstitutional delays.

GOA’s Antonyuk case was decided at the district court.
We won on NY’s airport carry ban.
The judge says the CCIA "conceivable or even likely" violates Bruen, Rahimi, Hemani, and Wolford but he is bound by the Second Circuit & ruled against us on other carry bans.
A major legal obstacle just struck down.
Previously, the Second Circuit barred organizations like GOA from suing on behalf of their members.
We can now once again bring cases against anti-gun states in the Second Circuit, like NY, to defend our members’ constitutional rights.
DOJ just filed to dismiss our challenge to the USPS carry ban yet admitted the 2A protects carrying firearms for self-defense in post offices.
Instead of settling, DOJ wants to leave the door open, arguing its OLC opinion removed any “credible threat of prosecution" - FOR NOW.

If you want a nonresident Oregon carry permit, you must:
• Be from a surrounding state
• Talk to a sheriff
• Have a “compelling business reason”
That’s why GOA and @GunFoundation sued the state in Federal Court.
