I’m seeing the grudging respect being paid to Arsenal’s defensive solidity when they need to grind out results. First they will mock you, then they will respect you when the results start coming. We’ve come a long way from when we could be 2 goals up and we will still have our hearts in our mouths to the end of the game. When the match got to 80 minutes I told people that Arsenal had won already. You could extend that game by another 60 minutes and Liverpool would still not get a goal. Next weekend, we will play another premier league team and we will dominate them and have more possession and take more shots. Because we play how we want and there’s little you can do about it. The elephant is back on the tree.
