Significant update from Carbon Brief. I’ve followed this closely for five years. China’s CO₂ emissions fell 3.1% in Q3, strengthening the evidence of a structural shift following 2025’s annual decline. Clean energy is displacing coal, EVs are cutting oil demand, & the transition is increasingly showing up in the emissions data.

What El Sayed said about the same people financing Republicans and Democrats in the USA,is directly applicable here to Labor, Liberals, Nationals, & ON.Its why trust in political parties here is rock bottom. It's also why there's cost of living/housing crisis w/wide.
🇺🇸 El-Sayed says the same people are financing the Republicans and the Democrats:
“People don't trust our party because too often we're funded by the very same people who fund Republicans... Can we actually cut the cord that we've had to corporate money and start governing like we give a damn about working people?”

Electric cars about to overtake petrol.
I always said EVs would take over by 2028.
It’s looking like we can bring that prediction forward, by at least 6 months.
On the current trends, it’s possible that we will see a month, where more EVs are sold than petrol by April 2027.
By October 2027, EVs will outsell petrol cars, every month, forever.

Tim Wilson, or as he is known to us 'CINDY ', has been having a whinge on social media about Jim Chalmers. We have Post/replied to Timothy earlier this morning about his latest post (link below), where, yet again, he was factually incorrect.
Which leads to this beautiful clip of Tim Wilson getting CHALMERED. @JEChalmers toasts @TimWilsonMP
Now, to be fair to Cindy, he's not very bright, so please do make allowances for that when you watch THE BURN.

Dear Cindy,
The rate rises were to curb inflation.
The latest inflation is 4.3%
Now, when your clowns handed over the keys in May 2022, inflation was 5.1% - we know that you're no good with maths, logic or facts, so what that means, petal, is that it was 18.6% higher when your lot handed over.
Now, it gets worse for you, peaches. Within the first 90 days, and you know that inflation can't be turned around in 90 days, it was up to 6.1% - AGAIN... we know that you're no good with maths, logic or facts, so what that means, Petal, is that INFLATION was 41.86% higher when your lot handed over.
Would you like to read that again, Cindy? Within 90 days of handover to this labor government, your Financial fukwits handed over an inflation rate that was 41.86% higher than it is now.
FORTY-ONE PERCENT.
Now, Cindy, as it happens, the RBA didn't increase interest rates, well, save for once, while your BANKER-friendly government clowns were in power, which tends to suggest there's something a little bit wrong with the RBA. Indeed, the record shows that they say they left the increases too late, meaning that labor bore the brunt of your fucking mistakes.
You probably need to remember that you got elected, you personally, on a very slim margin. And if you continue with this sort of silliness, come the next election, you're gonna be out on your arse. And we know you don't want to hurt your arse.
Go away and put some disco music on or something.
We will leave you with an example of your poor relationship with facts; some might say "romance with lies".

UK homes with heat pumps and solar panels, directing surplus #solar electricity to the heat pump can deliver nearly three times the savings of traditional immersion diverters. Maximising savings depends on smart controls, export tariffs, battery priorities and efficient hot water scheduling.

America’s #EV numbers are miserable. Trump owns the decision to make them worse.
These figures are battery electric vehicles only, excluding plug-in hybrids. They show the share of new sales. Emerging markets are racing ahead while America sits at 6.8%.
Trump has made obstructing the transition government policy: attacking EV standards, targeting charging investment and ending purchase incentives. Trying to shelter a declining combustion business comes at the expense of America’s next generation of industries.
To me, that retreat is a commercial gift to China. Chinese manufacturers are building scale, expanding overseas and supplying affordable electric transport across the Global South. Here in Australia, we are beneficiaries too, with growing choice and competition. America’s obstruction cannot stop that transition. It gives competitors more room to establish themselves.
But for the first time in three years, I think we can finally lift some of the doom and gloom about America.
Voters have delivered a scathing verdict. Democrats have won both chambers of Congress. Trump is a lame duck with a very big congressional muzzle coming in January. He retains executive powers and a veto, but his congressional free ride is finished.
My reading of this result is clear: Americans want relief from punishing living costs, expensive energy and endless conflict. They deserve cheaper goods, including affordable EVs, and leadership focused on making everyday life better.
Now the governors, senators and representatives who understand the global transition have a bigger platform and an urgent job: turn that opportunity into lower bills, investment and productive industries.
That means EVs, electric trucks, solar, wind and battery storage. It means lithium, rare earth processing and domestic manufacturing. It means building the affordable electricity supply that new industry and AI infrastructure will need.
America has the brains, resources, capital and industrial capability. Give those strengths a government prepared to help them build, and the comeback could be extraordinary.
Think back to 2020. Now imagine what a stronger, more determined push could deliver by 2028–2030.
I haven’t felt this kind of political hope for America since then.
Hope is alive again. Watch America roar.
