Congratulations to Joshua Marmolejo, who was named a winner of the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence this morning. Marmolejo, an Automotive teacher at Clint High School in Clint, TX, won $35,000 for his school’s program and $15,000 for himself. A total of $1.5 million has been awarded to 25 public high school skilled trades teachers and their programs across the United States.
“Ultimately, what drives me is knowing that the skills I share with my students have lasting value. They not only gain technical proficiency but also develop problem-solving abilities and confidence, preparing them for successful futures in the trades or beyond,’’ Marmolejo said.
