So important to discuss this in #MaternalMentalHealthAwarenessWeek. Women are often hidden - it's hard to go out when you are being sick all the time. This is not a rare condition - it affects 1 to 3 in 100 pregnancies (NHS data). It needs to be taught in schools & stories shared
It's Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week - A week-long campaign dedicated to mental health problems before, during and after pregnancy, organised by @PHPUK.
Was your mental health affected during your pregnancy?
Let us know.
