The King Air’s departure from N’Djamena, Chad’s capital, for an ISR mission over the area may be linked to ISWAP activity, potentially supporting intelligence gathering and threat monitoring.
ISWAP claimed its fighters attacked a Nigerian military position and allied militia members in Damasak last Wednesday, killing one personnel, forcing others to flee, setting the position ablaze and seizing a rifle. The claims remain independently unverified.

ONSA and the NCCC should pursue a digital sovereignty framework inspired by China’s Great Firewall and Russia’s domestic internet infrastructure. Nigeria must own and control its critical digital infrastructure to strengthen cybersecurity and address online security threats.
“Nigeria must strengthen its defences on the digital battlefield by confronting radicalisation, hate speech, and online extremism.

I’m not going to lie, while observing the Russia–Africa Summit, Equatorial Guinea’s presidential jet really stood out. The livery was incredible, and the presence it carried was unmatched. Teodoro sure does have taste.🫡

I think he’s just underestimating what ISWAP is capable of or trying to downplay the damage done by ISWAP against the Nigerian state over the last couple of years.
You can't be ignorant 😏, I have a friend who's in the army and serving in the signal Corps,he said there have been cases of drone incursions... but I never thought that you can be this unprofessional by not believing that ISWAP and other factions can incorporate drones..

ISWAP have actually gotten their hands on on FPV drones for a long time. ISWAP deployed four armed drones carrying locally manufactured grenades during an attack on Nigeria’s Forward Operating Base at Wajiroko on 24 December 2024.

The JF-17 thunder would’ve reduced dependence on overseas facilities for certain aspects of aircraft support.
Nigeria was expected to acquire 40 JF-17s and establish a local assembly line by 2017, potentially becoming Africa’s JF-17 hub. The plan was allegedly blocked by the US, and Nigeria ended up with just three JF-17s and US-restricted Super Tucanos.

Of course we mustn't be left out, before a possible Threats emerge we should be planning a scenario,we mustn't wait and assume our current security situation doesn't demand high end fighter jets..

Just like Esau took away his elder brother’s birth right. So has Algeria taken away a critical role meant for Nigeria to play. The FG chose selfish antics over establishing regional dominance.
Exactly now Algeria troops will now have access to the sahelian trade routes and influence in Nigers uranium deposits this were roles meant for Nigeria
