I fully agree! I think it is great that RobTop is noticing that we have done good work and is making that work more accessible to the wider GD audience! However, I'd like him to also say thanks. I don't want money or a party. Just a mention of credit anywhere
I like that RobTop is taking inspiration from mods and adding them to the base game! However, call me selfish, but I would like to receive some sort of acknowledgement that the mod I spent 4 years on has been directly copied into the base game, without ever asking me
Update 2.209 is coming very soon! Check out the trailer: youtu.be/gLlwslqKvQc
I know some folks like to say "well mods are against TOS and he didn't copy any code" but like. That is the View tab from BetterEdit. That is the edit UI from BetterEdit. That is the Custom Keybinds UI I designed. I spent hours if not days fine-tuning all of those designs
Read my blog post for an explanation on why, what I'll be doing from now on, and what'll happen to BetterEdit: hjfod.github.io/blog/so-long…
Hello! If you are using the Geode v5 Beta, BetterEdit is now available for it :)
If you're not using the Geode v5 Beta, you can install it through our GitHub or through Android Launcher settings. I will not be providing instructions. It will be a fun adventure for u :)
Hey guys! Just wanted to give a quick update on how Geode is going: we released a beta for developers yesterday and have spent today watching mods be ported and fixing crashes :) The update is most likely going to be fully released next week for everyone, sorry for the wait :)

Editor Collab is NOT $10 per level, it is a one time purchase of $10. You can host as many levels as you want, but each account can only host one level at a time. I am not sure who keeps spreading this blatant misinformation but that's not cool.
I actually agree with this tweet, but as the developer of the pictured mod, I want to give a bit of context to clear things up🧵
That's it for this thread. Hope it gave y'all some insight on modding from the perspective of the modder. Mods are works of art themselves that take hundreds of dedicated hours to make, and I'd hope you respect the people improving your experience!
