What's misleading? They were just doing a comparison of the artist's adveritised quality and what they got. Why does price matter? Why does the fact they got a refund matter? Why does the time frame matter? None of that changed the quality of the image they received.
Haven't seen anyone talk about this but Deadock is probably one the most expensive games ever made. It's been in development for at least 4 years. The number could be more than 500 millions for all we know.
