Any teams looking for a friendly tomorrow? Our oppo pulled out today. Pitch and ref booked at Shoreham academy for 10:30 am. Let us know!
Well earned draw today against a good and resilient @AldringtonFc thanks to Ian @sussexsundayfl for standing in to ref the game.
Not the result we wanted today, going down 3-1 to a well organised @RattonU special mention to their keeper who went out the way to help our player with a head injury in a well contested 2nd half #classispermanent
After leaving us with 3 points but no
game with their 11th hour forfeit last weekend, today we had our reverse fixture against @associates_fc
A comfortable first win against them (finally) keeps us top of the table, for now… Up the Wednesday!
Never a good feeling when the opposition pull out an hour before kick off, especially when people plan their weekends around a game and travel far and wide to play. Would’ve rather played and earned the three points than to be gifted them, shame.
Gutted. Just weren’t there defensively today. @AldringtonFc took their chances and knew how to hold on to the win. Final score Aldrington 6 - 5 HPW. We did play some good football when we had the ball though, lovely team goal for your eyes below. Dust it off, up the Wednesday!
Sunday's fixture was more than just a game of football. It
was dedicated to Dave, a special friend of ours who
worked closely with the charity we sponsor @superstararts
Sadly Dave lost his life last week.
These moments remind us why we play football. It's more
than just a game…
it's about community, togetherness and having each other's back, through the good times and the
bad. If you ever find yourself struggling, there is always
help and support around you, please don't suffer in silence. I know that this team has certainly helped a lot of us…
through some tough times and it's something we really try not to take for granted. We hope we did him proud with this solid team performance.
Full time HPW 4-1 @hangletonfc
Thanks to Hangleton and the Referee for joining us in a minute's silence before the game.
Training after the Christmas holidays be like… Back to it Sunday for our postponed fixture vs @HangletonFc it’s 3rd vs 4th both sides looking to stay in the title race. Kick off 10:30am, Nevill Sports Ground aaaaand it’s liiiiive
Massive game this Sunday against @HangletonFc, I think this is what they call a 6 pointer… We’re sure it’ll be a tasty one.
After taking part in ‘No points November’, the lads rallied to bounce back with a 7-0 victory against @HUCFCRes gifting them their first L of the season. We then put 11 past @fc_amici on a sticky pitch, conceding 0. New Years resolution is to win every remaining league game, UTW
That’s more like it… 6-0 win, up the Wednesday. All the best for the rest of the season @fc_amici
After an embarrassing result opening game of the season against @HUCFCRes it was good to dust that off and get back to winning ways - in style too. 8-0 the final score, all the best to @FcStudland for the rest of the season. Next up, the battle of Hove @1stHove @HoveLions
Any goalkeepers out there that fancy playing some Sunday league with a load of lovely lads please give us a follow and dm or email [email protected] !!
What a result for the boys in green and white this evening... 3-0 down at half time, the lads came out and turned it on its head. Final score 5-3 to the Wednesday, against a very good @melvadukes - up to 4th, we move.
Not a good performance from the boys today, woeful. Full credit to @WRangers_FC for taking their chances, 5-1 the final score line. Looking to bounce back and continue our good league form next week against @melvadukes, we move.
