How are you using your influence? Are you using it to inform, educate, and inspire positive change, or to mislead others and spread harmful information? Influence carries responsibility. Use yours to empower others and help build a more informed, peaceful society. #Peacebuilding @YouthEngage_rw

"Supporting a Family to Rebuild and Thrive After a Devastating Loss" Mr. Sinjyenibo Phenias, from Ruganda Sector, @KarongiDistr, lost his wife and a newborn baby in February 2020 following what was reported as clinical negligence at Biguhu Health Centre. The loss left the family facing significant emotional and socio-economic challenges. @DuterimbereO, in partnership with @KarongiDistr, has supported Mr. Phenias and his family to strengthen their resilience and improve their living conditions. His house was retrofitted with a complete package to provide a safer and more dignified home, while the family also received a cow from Karongi District to support their livelihood and strengthen household income opportunities. @RwandaGender @minisanterwanda @RwandaWest @KarongiDistr

From Conflict to Harmony, From Shared Dreams to Shared Prosperity: Beatha and Clotilda’s Transformative Journey Through GALS. Beatha of Mutuntu Sector and Clotilda of Gitesi Sector in Karongi District are examples of positive change through the Gender Action Learning System (GALS) training under the Climate Justice Programme (CJP) implemented by @DuterimbereOng in partnership with Trocaire. Their experiences demonstrate how GALS promotes family harmony, strengthens communication and shared decision-making, advances gender equality and encourages joint planning towards common goals. Through improved family relationships and cooperation, both women are contributing to stronger household livelihoods, asset accumulation and a more peaceful and economically secure future for their families. @trocaire @sciaf @RwandaGender @KarongiDistr

Veredian, an elderly woman and survivor of the Genocide against the Tutsi, has experienced a remarkable transformation after receiving support to retrofit her old and vulnerable house into a safe, modern and well-equipped home thru CJP program implemented by @duterimbere in partnership with @trocaire. The improvements have not only given the house an impressive new look, but have also enhanced her and her family member’s safety, comfort, dignity and overall wellbeing. Today, Veredian, her daughter Uwamahoro and 2 grandchildren enjoy a more secure and dignified home, bringing renewed hope and comfort to the family members’ lives.@RwandaGender @sciaf @KarongiDistr
