#Habs are 5-1-1 in their last 7. It sure doesn't feel like it 😂

Another #Habs win without Suzuki, protecting a 3rd period lead. Fowler incredible and 1st star. Can't believe we didn't get a single PP. There should be an audit on the refs whenever that happens. Unacceptable.

A 2 goal lead going into the 3rd. Again. Will they survive and win in regulation?

What a goal. Kind of wild that Erik Cole is there.
#Habs #Habs Tic-Tac-Toe! Erik Cole, David Desharnais and Guillaume Latendresse team up for a goal against the #Jets in the Alumni Game! #GoHabsGo #NHL #Hockey

Stats aside, Kreider just hasn't seemed very... Engaged? Limited bursts of speed, little puck possession, near zero puck protection, few shots/chances. It's early but a little bit surprised.
Chris Kreider après 10 matchs avec les #GoHabsGo: 1 but 3 aides 4 points -1 4 PIM 9 tirs 14:38 15 mises en échec 5 tirs bloqués

Another solid showing from Jacob Fowler, who is now 4-1. Fowler is last year's Dobes. Dobes is last year's Monty. Don't mess this up like last time. Just play Fowler.

#Habs are going to win in regulation, having perfectly protected a 3-1 lead. An easy opponent to be sure, but a win nonetheless. A building block.

Evans for Larkin is heating up
Kris Draper: maybe we should we trade our 71 for their 71 👀

Painful period but #Habs come out of it tied. They'll have a big PK to start the 2nd after a world class dive from Oliver Moore.

Matheson and Beck in Engstrom and Suzuki (injured) out Fowler to start This is the beginning of a big test for this group. Really want to see Caufield and Slaf take the team on their shoulders while Suzuki is out.

Assuming Florian is not back tonight, how would you set the 4 forward lines for the game vs. Chicago?

Lots of injuries this season so far... Suzuki 2-4 weeks Demidov 2-4 weeks Matheson DTD Monty 10-14 days F Xhekaj 2 weeks Kapanen DTD for weeks Guhle Missed preseason + 4 games Losing Suzy hurts the most though and highlights the need for a high quality 2C. Hughes, you're up.

Ironman streak is over, and more importantly, our season could be in jeopardy. We may go up to a month without a top 6 center. Suzuki is our best player. Just devastating.
L'attaquant Nick Suzuki (haut du corps) ratera de deux à quatre semaines d'activité. Forward Nick Suzuki (upper body) will be out for two to four weeks.

And to be clear, this is not meant to be hate on Dobes in any way. We love him. The team needs to stack wins and build confidence. Right now, Fowler is giving them a better shot at that happening. Long-term, Habs will be most successful with a solid 1A/1B setup.
The #Habs don't play back to back until November 18-19. A full month. 12 games between now and then. Fowler should probably be playing 10 of them, assuming he keeps up his play. Can't repeat what they did with Monty last year. Ride the hot goalie. Period.
