The Port Scanner presents you with a choice before you even know what the scan will bring.
An Open port can offer better rewards, but there is a catch: it also carries the risk of a honeypot. A Filtered port offers a safer route, with a different distribution of possible rewards.
That is what makes the decision interesting. You are choosing between different levels of risk without knowing exactly what the scan will return, and the most tempting option is not necessarily the one that works out in your favour.
In HAK-ME, the scan is only part of the experience, learning how to approach the choice is part of playing the game well.
Someone asked how a HAK-ME Skill Clash works, so here’s a closer look.
You hit Find Battle, and HAK-ME finds another hacker for you.
From there, you choose:
⚔️ Attack — costs 5 stamina
↪️ Skip — costs 1 stamina
Your character’s skills affect the battle, and you can also use one-time abilities such as Penetration and Firewall.
Win → SP + 5 BP
Lose → -2 BP
Those Battle Points also count towards your PvP ranking, so every clash gives you another chance to move up.
There’s more to the battle system, but this is where it begins.
Think you could win one?
In HAK-ME, scanning a port is more than choosing a place to collect a reward.
The port you select determines the kind of risk you are willing to take.
An Open port can offer better rewards, but it also carries the risk of a honeypot.
A Filtered port offers a safer route, with a different distribution of possible rewards.
That makes the choice worth understanding.
The more attractive option does not guarantee a better outcome, and the safer one does not offer the same possibilities.
It is a small detail in the wider game, but it gives the Port Scanner a decision at its centre: weigh the opportunity against the risk before making your move.
The more you understand how HAK-ME works, the more there is to consider beyond simply pressing a button and collecting what comes back.
Rush to the TG to check the new partner quiz feature.
Tournaments will be ending soon.

In Skill Clash, the decision to attack costs 5 stamina, while skipping an opponent costs only 1.
That difference is worth thinking about before you enter every battle.
Your opponent's skills matter, too. Hard Skill increases attack power but can be countered by Security, while Cyber Attack penetrates armour and is countered by Hard Skill. How you develop your hacker, therefore, has a bearing on the battles you choose to take.
There is a little more thought involved than simply pressing Find Battle and hoping for the best.
Skill Clash Tournament #4 is running on Telegram until 20 October.
Every battle played during the tournament counts towards the leaderboard, so if you're already in the game, your next decision could help move you up the table.
Some battles are won before the first move.
Not because the opponent is weaker, but because you came prepared.
Skill Clash Tournament #4 is now live on Telegram , with 50 GRAM starting at the top of the prize pool for the top 15 players.
Every Skill Clash battle you play between now and 20 October counts towards the tournament leaderboard.
If you’ve been meaning to test yourself, this is a good time to find out where you stand.

@HakmeApp is actually exposing people 😂😭
Because if you haven’t settled your Web3 basics, some of these questions will humble you real quick.
You think you know Web3 until they hit you with a DEX question and you’re just staring at your screen like that while time is going 😹😭
If you’re still snoozing on the @HakmeApp game, you’re actually missing out.
Join the tournament happening now on Telegram or Base App. 👀🔥
A game does not reveal itself all at once.
Sometimes it begins with an idea, then a screen, then a collection of small decisions that slowly give the thing a shape of its own.
Tools Clash is somewhere in that process now.
This is the latest look at the toolkit: its tools, categories, rarities, levels and loadouts.
There is more being built beyond what you can see here.
For now, we thought you might enjoy seeing where the work has brought us.
Skill Clash Tournament #2 is now live on @base .
From today until 16 October, every Skill Clash battle you play automatically counts towards the tournament leaderboard.
No registration.
No separate entry.
No extra steps.
Find a battle, make your move, and see where you end up on the board.

Always good to see hackers discovering what’s happening inside HAK-ME. 🤝
From scanning ports and running Shadow Ops to testing your skills against other players, there’s plenty to explore in the underground.
And we're only getting started.
Have you stepped into HAK-ME yet?
There is this particular game I find very interesting.
@HakmeApp
It is a hacker RPG built inside Telegram and on Base,
There’s a whole tech and hacking theme around the game, with characters, skills, upgrades and challenges.
