E algo misterioso aconteceu durante essas duas horas em que a votaรงรฃo permaneceu aberta, pois Lula conseguiu 10 milhรตes de votos do absoluto nada, contrariando todas as pesquisas, as probabilidades estatรญsticas e a prรณpria matemรกtica.

For the avoidance of doubt (since some have been asking), the 800 on the Scottish public payroll without proper jobs does NOT include the 129 MSPs in Holyrood ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Astounding Sunday Times investigation reveals new scandal in SNPโs Socialist Scotland:
800 NHS, central government, council and quango workers whose jobs no longer exist but remain on the public payroll because of the SNPโs โno public-sector redundancyโ policy.
Estimated cost of paying people to do nothing: ยฃ27m a year.
One NHS Highland worker has been receiving a full salary and benefits for 17 years despite not having a specific job.
The health board refused to say what the worker had been doing for almost two decades and how much they had been paid.
Likely cost to the taxpayer is expected to be far higher with several public bodies refusing to disclose salaries for hundreds of the workers awaiting redeployment.

MY FORECAST FOR THE UK. A WARNING FROM FRANCE. ๐ฌ๐ง
France is the gateway to Britain. Our closest major continental neighbour, a major trading partner and a country through which vast numbers of people and goods pass on their way to the UK.
That makes France a powerful indicator of what could happen here next.
Itโs like watching history unfold, but in real time.
Truth be told, I believe France is losing its national identity.
In many of the places Iโve visited, France simply doesnโt feel French anymore.
And I fear that in another ten years, another generation, the changes weโre witnessing could become irreversible.
Britain needs to act NOW.
Not tomorrow. Not next week. NOW.
Minor political disagreements need putting aside because, in my opinion, weโre approaching a different kind of conflict.
Not one fought with conventional weapons, but one involving demographics, birth rates, immigration, borders and national identity.
The future of a country is shaped not just by its history, but by the decisions its people make today.
Secure our borders.
Stop illegal immigration.
Demand political accountability.
Protect our national identity.
The clocks went back an hour today.
I wish we could turn them back twenty years.
Call this my Rasputin post. After everything Iโve witnessed, I am more convinced than ever that Britain is approaching a crossroads.
And the longer we refuse to confront difficult questions, the fewer choices weโll have.
Apologies for a negative post on a Sunday.
Iโm about to board a plane in a storm, but frankly, itโs the storm I see gathering back home that worries me more.
My final message is simple: donโt just read this, shake your head and carry on with your Sunday. Ask questions. Challenge your representatives. Demand answers. Make your voice heard, peacefully and democratically.
Because if we leave the decisions about Britainโs future to everyone but ourselves, we cannot complain when we donโt recognise the country weโve become.
The time to take responsibility for our future is now.
Iโm just the guy who films things and shows you whatโs actually happening, itโs up to you to make an informed judgement

Iโve written many times about how the soft left on Labourโs backbenches are โeconomic illiteratesโ. This is proof positive. Beyond redemption in its misunderstanding of markets, supply, demand, taxes.
Nope, thatโs not how taxes and price works. The price is determined by demand and supply.
Companies charge the highest price they can given demand. A tax levied on *profits* does not affect a companyโs cost ie supply.
Taxes on *windfall* profits (like oil and gas) are the most efficient kind of tax there is.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Corporate profit taxes do not directly shift marginal costs but empirical studies show partial pass-through into higher consumer prices. Windfall taxes on oil and gas have deterred investment and production in practice despite theoretical efficiency on rents.
