It's incredible to think that almost exactly 2 years ago we were having a great meal together to celebrate our 70th birthday. We are slowly making a return and, slowly but surely, we will be back up to full strength!

A huge, socially distanced, thank you to @Fusion_LS, @SouthgateLC, @EnfieldCouncil, @joanne4enfield, @EnfieldSwimSq and everyone who’s been supporting us. We had our first club swim since March today and our swimmers really loved it! They were all really excited to swim again!

Southbury Leisure Centre will not be opening tomorrow. It is delayed by 24 hours. Its only been closed since March you would have thought Fusion had had enough time to get its act together for reopening.
We need pools to open. Our swimmers are disabled and swimming is often the only sport they can participate and achieve in. Not swimming is making a lot of our members’ disabilities worse ☹️

Enfield Council needs to be tough with its contractor Fusion because a week has gone by & our leisure centres remain shut. We all want our pools open for business. You should not need to be a member of David Lloyd’s or Nuffield to use a pool.
