For those who know Sentry, you know we’ve been giving back to Open Source maintainers since our early days. This year, we increased our budget from $750,000 to $1,000,000. Here’s where it went 🧵

Very depressing. Mass Effect and Dragon Age for me were worlds I got lost into. The former, having a big impact on me in my younger days. In today's market and available tech, I wish I understood the why with this decison

My account has been under review for over about a week since I moved to @SpaceXSI new plans from their old plans. Super frustrating when I need to send thirsty DMs to people. @X WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG 😭

killing the save button for auto-save manufactures a ton of backend complexity. suddenly you need conflict resolution, optimistic rollbacks, and offline state. as a designer, i'd rather absorb the distributed systems pain so the user never has to wonder if their work saved.

Today's top opensource GitHub repo of the day: AI-by-design/Design-workflow github.com/AI-by-design/Desi… claude Code skills and Cursor rules for design-system-aware development. why builders should care: forces coding agents to look up existing tokens and components before they write new CSS or invent unapproved styles.

Today's top opensource GitHub repo of the day: radix-ui/primitives github.com/radix-ui/primitiv… unstyled, accessible UI primitives that power modern component libraries. why builders should care: handles focus trapping, keyboard navigation, and ARIA attributes out of the box so you can style components however you want without breaking accessibility.

Today's top opensource GitHub repo of the day: shadcn-ui/ui github.com/shadcn-ui/ui copy-paste accessible components built on Radix primitives and Tailwind. why builders should care: gives you production-ready accessible components directly in your repo without fighting third-party npm package styling overrides.

I haven't used Figma in these last few months now that I think about it. My workflow has changed a lot. Crazy. Paper is kinda nice

Today's top opensource GitHub repo of the day: ryandmonk/aesthetic-function github.com/ryandmonk/aesthet… deterministic code-to-design synchronization between React components and Figma. why builders should care: maps production code directly back to design files to catch token drift and unmerged UI changes before pull requests ship.

This is great
We have built 10 different AI products at PostHog like PostHog AI, our Wizard, Replay Vision, Scouts, and more. Combined, they are used by nearly 100k people every month. Along the way, we’ve learned a lot about building them, what works, and what doesn’t. Here are the 38 most important lessons:

When building tools for AI agents, agents can request workspace erasure with read access, but execution requires human owner approval. That's today's thinking, but what that abundance of caution change in the future? wiping state without review risks losing uncommitted work.
