remember when you'd log in and it was just your friends? like actually your friends. not influencers, not "people you may know," not a stranger's political opinion algorithmically selected to make you angry enough to keep scrolling. the whole thing used to be what are my people up to. now it's what does the machine want me to look at for 40 more minutes. the friends are still in there somewhere, buried under six ads. and the weird part is we all know. everyone i talk to knows. we open the app, feel worse, close it, open it again 20 minutes later. it stopped being social years ago. it's a slot machine with a comments section. the thing i actually miss isn't posting. i don't want to post. i want to know my brother went for a run this morning. i want to see that my friend landed in tokyo. i want the group i went to college with to have a place that isn't a whatsapp thread of 400 unread messages about nothing. none of that needs an algorithmic feed. none of that needs strangers. none of it needs to be content. i've been building something with a few friends for the last while trying to get back to that. small groups, your actual people, and instead of posts it's just... your life, quietly shared with the ones you chose. steps, trips, habits, where you are if you want them to know, nothing if you don't. no algorithm. no discover tab. no strangers. no ads, ever. called it Circles. pre-launch, ios first...probably. if any of this resonates the waitlist is makecircles.xyz/ . and if it doesn't genuinely, i hope you find whatever gets you off the slot machine. life is too short. peace.

If I created a design library, would you as a designer be interested in submitting your work?

Testing threads in PostLoop, a scheduler I'm building. This is part one.

Bloks.dev uses agent37 for sandboxes :)
Sandboxes have no moat. Just fat margins. We're launching agent37.com to kill those margins. For example, a sandbox with 2 vCPUs and 4 GB RAM when left running for an entire month: Vercel: $249 Cloudflare: $145 Daytona: $121 Agent37: $4.76 There's nothing magical about a sandbox that justifies keeping it expensive forever. Call it a race to the bottom. We'll see you there. If you can find a cheaper sandbox and we'll refund the difference.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Vercel and Cloudflare charge for active CPU time (excluding idle/waiting periods common in agent use) and provisioned memory while running, unlike the full-month 100% utilization figures quoted; Daytona bills full reserved resources while started. vercel.com/docs/sandbox/p… developers.cloudflare.com/containers/pla… daytona.io/pricing agent37.com

This jet crash vid was horrific to watch and even worst to listen to

We made bloks.dev so anyone can use any existing sub for their agents or APIs. Your agents should belong to you. Your data should be controlled by you. You shouldn’t be locked into one model.

The cost of serving Grok Bot was unsustainably high relative to revenue

Comparing lovable and base44 to the guy who turns on the faucet for you is the truest thing I read all week.
I don’t understand why people pay for vibe coding tools like Base44 or Lovable. You can build anything in Claude Code. It’s like the guy in the fancy restaurant bathroom who turns on the faucet for you. Thanks, I guess? But I have hands. I know how faucets work. And now I feel obligated to give you $5. Maybe I’m missing something. Claude Code is fast. Easy. You have more control. And you’re not dependent on someone else’s platform. For those paying for Base44 or Lovable, what are you getting that you can’t get from Claude Code? Genuinely curious.

The France situation is crazy imagining pouring 30+ years into a small business just to get looted and beat. Maybe the second amendment isn’t that bad after all. Try this in Texas and you’ll get shot.

I'm someone who likes simplicity. MausBot is good, but it's hard to stay focused in it. @mausbot_ Then you look at Bloks and the difference is obvious. @HamedTweets Right now it's one of the best UIs I've used. Openbot is a solid product, but two things make it easy to lose focus and get mental clutter. I marked them in the image. @OpenBot_
