On @verantaxyz In the last 24 hours, we did over 700 million in volume on Gold $XAU. This is more than every other on-chain perp DEX combined, based on my calculations.
We're starting to see this trend pretty consistently. Why?
Traders are coming on and using 50 to 100x leverage to catch quick moves and scalp. We offer up to 200x which is more than other venues. They get immediate fills on $12+ million positions and then don't pay any fees with effectively no slippage, especially for our VIPs
With our new RFQ model, we flipped the whole system on its head, this gives us a nice structural advantage. If you know any size gold traders, i'd love to give them funded wallets to try us out.

In 2018, Korean trader Wonyotti deposited 14.5 BTC on BitMEX. Four years later: 3,537 BTC of realized profit. I rebuilt all 1.44M fills from the released ledger. The record breaks into six setups. I coded the rule-based ones and replayed them through 2026 on @verantaxyz 's backtest engine.
None work today, and each died differently: maker rebates vanished, pros took over the book, leverage fell from 3.4x to 0.6x. It reads like a seismograph of crypto growing up.
