Interesting energy development out of Imo State.
Procurement has reportedly commenced for a 100,000 bpd refinery at the Iheoma Marginal Field, with @afreximbank as anchor and @Deloitte and Africa Quality Assurance Center as advisers.
If delivered, Imo could become Nigeria’s top largest refining hub after Lagos.
That could be a major boost for jobs, investment and the Southeast’s energy economy.
Now, the big question is execution.

Sam Anyanwu says the rainbow coalition will sack APC in Imo in 2027, while Governor Hope Uzodimma insists there is no rainbow coalition in the state.
With political conversations heating up ahead of the election, the big question is whether this coalition can translate its claims into votes.
What do you think? Can the rainbow coalition unseat APC in Imo State in 2027?

I agree that INEC should be more responsible. But the truth remains they have really really evolved over time. Casting mind back to the days of Maurice Iwu, you will agree that today's INEC is a virgin or to be fair has just one body count.

It is an honour to grace the cover of @ExeleonMagazine's The Most Impactful Women Advancing Public Health in Africa 2026.
We receive this recognition with gratitude, humility, and a renewed sense of duty. For what is distinction if it does not deepen our resolve to serve? Our purpose remains to strengthen health systems, safeguard mothers and newborns, advance the education of our girls, and extend opportunity to communities too often left behind.
May our work leave a legacy measured not merely in accolades, but in lives preserved, minds enlightened, and generations empowered.
The honour is cherished. The duty endures.

There is a certain peace that comes with accepting that not everything needs to be fixed. Some things need to be understood, some need to be released, and some simply need to be accepted as part of the story. You do not have to fight every battle life places before you. Sometimes wisdom is knowing which battles deserve your energy.

I have said this before, and I will say it again. Not every milestone in your life needs an announcement. Some wins are personal, some dreams are still unfolding, and some doors are better left unopened to the public until you have walked through them.
People can only ruin what they know about. Learn to protect your peace, guard your plans, and celebrate some victories quietly. Not everything needs an audience. Sometimes, silence is wisdom, and privacy is protection.

This would be hilarious if it weren’t so disgraceful. Imagine being so consumed by Islamophobia that someone’s admission to an MBA programme becomes an opportunity to organise a campaign against them. When prejudice comes before evidence, it says far more about the accusers than the accused. Eventually, this obsession will expose its own ugliness!
