Yeni Yugoslavya Komünist Partisi'nden (NKPJ - @NKPJ_Srbija) Sırbistan seçimleri değerlendirmesi.
"Halk düşmanı iktidarın yerini halk düşmanı muhalefet aldı" başlığıyla yayınlanan açıklamadan öne çıkanlar şu şekilde:
• NKPJ, 25 Ekim’de düzenlenen parlamento seçimlerinin ardından iktidarın değişmesinin, Sırbistan işçi halkının son derece kötü olan yaşam koşullarında zerre kadar iyileşme sağlamayacağını belirtiyor.
• Bunun nedeni basit. Sırp İlerleme Partisi (SNS) ve koalisyon ortaklarının burjuva, emperyalizm yanlısı iktidarının yerini, burjuva ve emperyalizm yanlısı muhalif “Öğrenci Listesi” aldı.
• Bu gerici oluşum, Batı emperyalizminin 2000 yılında, 5 Ekim karşıdevrimci darbesinin ardından Sırbistan’da iktidara getirdiği ve ülkemizde sosyalist inşa döneminden geriye kalan kazanımları ortadan kaldıran sürecin başlatıcısı olan, kötü şöhretli Sırbistan Demokratik Muhalefeti’nin (DOS) halk düşmanı siyasetinin devamcısıdır.
• Dolayısıyla Sırbistan işçi halkının sevinecek hiçbir şeyi yoktur; zira halk düşmanı bir iktidarın yerini yine halk düşmanı bir muhalefet alacaktır.
• Eski Demokrat Parti yöneticilerinin öncülük ettiği bu oluşum, bugüne kadar parlamentoda temsil edilen tüm burjuva ve emperyalizm yanlısı partilerin desteğine sahip. Bu nedenle Sırbistan vatandaşlarının çıkarları açısından, yeni dönemin SNS iktidarından da kötü olma ihtimali bulunuyor.
• AB’ye katılım politikası ve NATO ile askeri işbirliği devam edecek. Kosova ve Metohiya’nın Batı emperyalizminin işgali altında olduğu gerçeği görmezden gelinmeye devam edilecek. Ancak Brüksel’in baskısıyla, dost Çin ile işbirliğine de son verilecek.
• NKPJ; işçi sınıfını, kır proletaryasını, öğrencileri, emeklileri, gençleri, işsizleri, Yugoslavları ve dürüst aydınları, başkalarının emeğinin sömürülmesine ve Batı emperyalizmine karşı mücadele etmek üzere tüm ilerici, antifaşist ve sol güçleri bir araya getirecek bir seçim cephesi oluşturmaya çağırıyor.

Volodymyr Kyrdii, a teacher from Ukraine’s Poltava region, was unlawfully drafted into the army despite being legally entitled to a deferment.
For more than a year, he served in the military while fighting a parallel battle for his right to be discharged.
Eventually, he won with the help of Ombudsmen. Volodymyr is finally back where he belongs — with his students.
But who will give him back the year the state stole from his life, simply because it could?

The next time the water companies tell you they are running short of water think on!!
The UK averages 159 rainy days a year and ranks fourth in Europe for rainfall volume. The last major reservoir was finished in 1992. Since 2017, the privatised water companies have sold off at least 35 reservoirs and bulk storage sites. The government have now been warned that “Day Zero” – empty reservoirs – could arrive before Christmas.
We are a damp island that somehow managed to privatise the rain, sell off the storage and then act surprised when the taps run dry. The corporations took the infrastructures, paid the dividends and left us with a hosepipe ban and a warning about water rationing at Christmas.
And meanwhile, successive governments let this happen while enabling enormous data centres to guzzle up huge amounts of water and energy
Yet another example of the UK being turned into a corporation asset grab at the public’s expense. This is not just government negligence. It was a choice.
