Things have been so hard. I'd put it off so long but finally worked up the energy to try, hoping maaaaybe to save 10 or 20 bucks a month. I rarely drive. Even that paltry amount would cut some stress. Instead, because I asked for help, Geico raises my rate from 125 to over 200.
In 18 years of "loyalty" I've filed 1 claim for a break-in in a garage. Not a single accident.

The convo started with them thanking me for 18 years of loyalty as a customer. I was just inquiring about hopefully easing the cost. Instead, the rate is almost doubling.
I mean, seriously. WTF?
I don't have that money anyway. Truly terrible company. How is this legal?
My stress levels are overwhelming as it is and I naively thought @GEICO @TheGEICOGecko @GEICO_Service might have a cheaper option while I'm in such dire straits. I can't afford the insurance I had.
