@VITA_Network- home office plans for dental age checks - completely unethical!!! @DrLauraCN @DrRosieRiley
“If dental age checks go forward, then the Scientific Advisory Committee will be helping @ukhomeoffice chase column inches with no regard for the consequences,” says @EddieCrouch
“Vulnerable child migrants will end up paying the price.”

Community water fluoridation has been shown to almost halve the number of 1-4 year old children requiring admission to hospital to remove decayed teeth. It’s very much part of the solution, especially in high need areas, and delivers known return on investment.
Good to see UK CMOs examining how water fluoridation can improve oral health & prevent tooth decay which disproportionately affects more deprived groups.
Reinforces why our Health and Care Bill will make it simpler to expand water fluoridation schemes.

Without safe legal passage to the UK, asylum seekers fleeing Afghanistan will be forced to take dangerous routes paying thousands, with high risk of #trafficking #modernslavery.
Write to your MP now! @pritipatel @ukhomeoffice must create safe legal passage!
