I cannot quite put into words how proud I am to be named Senior Women's International Player of the Year. I'm honoured to wear the jersey and couldn't ask for a better team to experience it with. Excited to see what the next year brings 😘🇮🇪 @FAIreland #FAIAwards

“I flew back from the World Cup and was really jet-lagged, then started as a doctor two days later which was absolutely exhausting!

Less than a week after she returned from Australia, the newly qualified doctor was on duty in a respiratory ward in Liverpool, but this time there’ll be no double-jobbing, the 30-year-old having decided that it was time to retire from football.

Thank you for everything, H! 💙
For now, it’s time for me to take a step back from football and decompress. I will be starting work as a Doctor in the NHS and look forward to helping my patients.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my journey over the last 5 years.
H, x
I am proud that our flag flew high in Australia. Those moment signing Amhran Na Bhfiann in front of tens of thousands of Irish 10,000 miles away from home was phenomenal.
This team will continue to try and inspire Irish hearts.
Thank you for all your support, we heard you.☘️

Harriet should be graduating today, but she’s had to miss the ceremony – as she’s at the @FIFAWWC!
The medical student has juggled her studies while playing for both @BCFCWomen and @IrelandFootball 👏
