Hellraiser: Revival is satisfyingly brutal, thoroughly debauched, totally messed up and has an astute understanding of what makes Clive Barker’s world so enthralling. More than anything, though, I just loved its sheer commitment to the bit. My review for @BDisgusting
HELLRAISER: REVIVAL is a sadistic, flesh ripping horror shooter that understands the mind of Clive Barker.

Escape From Playtime has some nice little touches that lend it a mischevious personality. But I do wonder if those little touches are going to be enough to sustain your interest in the long run. My preview for

The thing that surprised me most about Silent Hill: Townfall is how politically charged its story is, and how that ties in to its British identity. My review for
@BDisgusting
SILENT HILL: TOWNFALL is a gripping experience that delivers everything you could want from a good Silent Hill title, while also pushing the envelope and innovating in some cool ways.

Almost every mechanic in The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is filtered through the lens of either cosmic horror or seventeenth-century monasticism, leading to some ingenious twists on well-worn extraction shooter tropes. My review for @BDisgusting

Vampire Hunter: Nightrise is a game that does a lot well, with seemingly deliberate design choices and inventive ideas. Unfortunately, this is all tainted by one completely needless decision on the part of its developers. My review for @BDisgusting

With us now midway through the year, @Baron_Aim and I have compiled our picks for the best horror games of 2026 so far. We've got everything from cat-breeding sims to deckbuilders and autobiographical chillers. Oh, and Resident Evil because... duh!

With Rodan making an overdue comeback in Monarch, I did a deep dive into his history across all continuities, looking at his Toho origins, his ever-shifting moral alignment and his curious tendency to get involved in Kaiju sporting events @BDisgusting

I spoke to Directive 8020's director about how they've ensured their new stealth gameplay doesn't alienate casual players who are just here for the narrative choices @BDisgusting

Dark Pals looks like like a creatively bankrupt FNAF clone, sounds like a creatively bankrupt FNAF clone, and is lumped together on Steam with creatively bankrupt FNAF clones. Yet I didn't mind it, thanks to some slick presentation and an intriguing world

Directive 8020 is poised to be an auspicious start to the The Dark Pictures Anthology Season 2, with an increased fear factor, a greater emphasis on interactivity and a welcome respect for players' time. My hands-on preview for @BDisgusting

I’ve always found Christopher’s hate of the movies bizarre, as if he didn’t see the joy in his dad’s books. Besides how well Jackson & co captured Tolkien’s themes (time, mortality, etc) Fellowship’s first half is one huge chase of Frodo by the Nazgûl. They’re adventure stories!

A new Spinosaurus species uncovered in northern Niger appears to have been a wading predator of fish like its close relatives, but it lived as many as 1000 kilometers inland from the Tethys Sea. The fossil find may represent a third phase of evolution for this group of massive, fish-eating dinosaurs.

I can't put my finger on it but this game is really sounding like a 2010 PS3-era type of racing game (and that's a good thing!)
Details on 'Star Wars: Galactic Racer' 🎮
• Being developed by former devs of 'Need for Speed' and 'Burnout'
• Has 'an immersive solo campaign' with branching paths
• 12-racer online multiplayer
• Scenario mode with unique racing conditions
• Vehicles include podracers, repulsorcrafts, landspeeders, skim speeders, and Speeder bikes
• Has no Season Pass — "This is a premium release ... We want it complete when it comes out"

Crisol: Theater of Idols reminds me of the kind of gimmicky shooter that I would have rented from Blockbuster back in the Xbox 360 era. To be clear, that is not meant as a dig, but rather as an affectionate endorsement. My review for @BDisgusting
