For those who don't fully understand what is up with the NHS, here is a thread for you that might help. I'm a consultant physician working as a doctor in the NHS in Yorkshire and Wales for 32 years now. I have experienced the NHS at its best (2008) and its worst (2022).

The NHS is completely BROKEN It WASNT broken by COVID/Ukraine/inflation(*delete excuse) It was broken by deliberate CHOICES to break it RT if you want this/next government to make CHOICES to properly fund the NHS, reward its staff & provide better healthcare for UK population

No nurses on strike in Harrogate today but they have my full support in asking for a #NursesPayRiseNow The NHS is held together by goodwill and grit. This amoral government needs to do whatever it takes to retain, recruit and train more staff, starting with nurses
