Mikel loves Ceadach OโNeill and you can see why. Can play anywhere across the front and has a habit of impacting games.
Never stops running and is creative.
Not easy to define his best position but I like him centrally.

I do wish people (especially @arsenal fans) would stop saying / comparing Arteta's first two years and Carricks start.
From the very start, Arteta, had in place a vision and plan, which he articulated very well.
From his first interview he had me hooked and believing, in what he was trying to achieve. He has maintained that from the start and built up every season to what we have now.
Carrick came in on a wave of Man United passion, which he used to great impact v City and arsenal in first two games, he used this momentum and the fact they had one game a week, to take the team 3rd, for which I applaud him.
But when has he ever articulated his plan?, what is style?, what is he building?
This summer transfer window was a car crash, most of his signings made little sense to what he needed, nor did it show a structure to the team he was building.
If United want to show him patience and give him time, i would want to hear his vision and his plan for how he will rebuild.
It took Arteta 3 1/2 seasons to slowly build and develop his team, to one that could challenge, can Carrick do that? personally i think not.
United need to stop with the sticking plasters, rip it apart and start again, accepting that they are at least 3 years from CL level..........but find the right manager to do it.
