A gallon of jet fuel contains about 34 kWh of energy and weighs about 6 lb.
Whereas a lithium-ion battery storing the same energy weighs about 250 lb.
That density gap defines modern systems.
Aviation runs on jet fuel, shipping runs on bunker fuel, agriculture runs on diesel.
Nobody wages war over solar panels and turbines.
Liquid fuels deliver high energy in compact form, batteries do not.
This is simple physics, not "climate denial."

A large tree trunk has been uncovered beneath a glacier in the Alps, dated to around 6,000 years ago.
The species is Swiss stone pine.
Today, trees of that type cannot grow at that altitude because it is far too cold.
This means that when that tree was alive, the climate there had to be warmer than today.
6,000 years ago aligns with the Holocene climate optimum, a time when temperatures were far higher than now, even with far less atmospheric CO2.
Earth's climate is cyclical and Mother Nature self-regulates.
Narratives of doom serve political aims, not reality.

THIS is what should be on the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square if you ask me.

Germany shut down its last nuclear power plants in 2023. That decision removed 4 GW of reliable, low-cost baseload electricity.
The plants were operational, they were paid for. And worse still, there was no replacement capacity ready.
Germany turned to intermittent wind and solar, backed by gas, imports and emergency coal restarts.
The obvious consequences followed.
Electricity prices surged, grid reliability weakened, and fossil fuel use actually increased.
Chancellor Friedrich Merz has now just admitted the shutdown was a strategic mistake, calling Germany's 'energy transition' the most expensive in the world.
A reckless bending to extreme green ideology traded reliability and prosperity for optics. Working nuclear plants were destroyed. And for what?
