So, now it's time for the Pioneers Day movie. American actor hired, emotional content ramped up ... take a moment in your day to settle down with a cuppa for just 1 min 49 seconds and press PLAY. See you on Saturday 💙

Another pointless, sparsely attended, moribund England game in the depths of September. Like so many this year. Keeping growing the game, ECB

What an awful summer of cricket. The Ben Stokes ego show in a home defeat for the first part and then the worst touring side of all time for the second part. Packed either side of a soulless franchise tournament that I didn’t watch a minute of.

Richard Gould CEO of the ECB said how pleased he was to see more Manchester Super Giants shirts in Manchester after a recent game than football shirts. The fact it was match day, 1000s of shirts were given away and the PL hasn’t started yet may be a factor.🤦‍♂️@StuffTheHundred

By August 2nd next summer all five Ashes test matches will have been played. Clearing the way, in the height of summer and the school holidays, for the bloody Hundred. The biggest event in English cricket being shoehorned into 46 days. Just ludicrous. @StuffTheHundred

I enjoy the Hundred but inane crap doesn’t work … and never has
The smug and jabbering comm on the Hundred reached a pathetic nadir last night as commentators asked cringing questions of the wicketkeeper while the ball was in play - twice the batsman turned round to see what the jabbering was about as the bowler was on his approach - then they all jabbered after the ball was hit. It is preening nonsense, no reference to the actual play.

Looking for some meaningful cricket to watch this week in the height of summer and the school holidays I was delighted to find the feed of England v India Mixed Disability T20 series. Some crumb of comfort during the Hundred’s attempted domination. @StuffTheHundred @ECB_cricket

Stuff the HUNDRED. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. Total Farce.
Joe Moores has been selected by London Spirit as an injury replacement for the remainder of The Hundred. Moores will be unavailable for the Club's upcoming matches in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup. 🔗 cricket.lancashirecricket.co…

This morning at 7.40 I completed my 500 mile “virtual” bike ride from Southend-on-Sea to Southend in Scotland. It took 21 days & 36 hours of cycling on my exercise bike all in aid of @HavensHosEvents in memory of my daughter Katie. Any donations welcome. justgiving.com/page/nick-har…

A quick update on my bike ride. Bit warm in the shed today but another 20 miles closer to my 500 mile target. I’m now, virtually, in the North West of England. Thank you for your continued support, 309 miles to go. Any support welcomed. @HavensVolunteer justgiving.com/page/nick-har…

Dear @ECB_cricket you’re not great at making decisions but any chance you could sack yourselves. And take the ridiculous Hundred with you? Asking for a lot of friends.

Remarkably the H*ndred has managed to become an even bigger laughing stock than it was before. It’s out of control and cricket as we love it in this country is evaporating before our eyes. #OpposeTheHundred
Manchester is a city synonymous with sport, passion, and legacy. As the #SuperGiants family grows globally, our presence in @thehundred reflects a long-term commitment to become part of the sporting culture and conscience of this great city. The @ManchesterSG100 identity represents this belief and ambition. @josbuttler @mandhana_smriti @Heini22 #MegLanning @Sophecc19 @noor_ahmad_15 #LiamDawson @JamesSheridan14
