The billionaires are all trying to get that #voucher money @GovAbbott promised them of they funded his campaign. This had nothing to do with your kids. They lied to you about public education. Jeff Bezos is also getting ready to build schools. The rich get richer. #txed #txlege

If you support eliminating the Department of Education, you do not support our students. Period. @USEDgov provides funding for: ✅Students w/ disabilities ✅Rural students ✅Programs that make college affordable This would be bad for students, and bad for America.

“I urge you to actually walk the halls of Public Schools. They are NOT failing. We have AMAZING educators functioning with few resources. Unfunded mandates, worthless testing, and little support, but they continue to function with grace for ALL kids.” -@shaleahxrose

One of the best parts of working in a school is you get to see people — students and teachers alike — find a project that speaks to their heart and build it into something that changes the world. I get to witness that every day, and I count myself blessed for it.

We love school choice. Texas has extensive school choice! Public, private, home, charter. It's vouchers that are corrupt! Vouchers aren't school choice. They are subsidies for private schools. They violate religious liberty. They fail children. Vote a pro #txed #txlege!!

One of the most difficult tasks a teacher is faced with is trying to balance holding all students to high expectations, while also remaining flexible and attuned to their individual needs.

Excessive heat in classrooms can lead to dehydration, lack of focus, fatigue, and even heat-related illnesses. Both students and educators deserve safe environments where they can thrive.
