1st grade celebrated positive class choices with a Wacky-Tacky Mix Match day. They earned all of their gems for the whole class making good choices and being on task. They came up with the celebrations they wanted at the beginning of the year @tchscitech @TransylvaniaSch
I had a proud teacher moment yesterday. My students really surprised me! When they did a problem to start our lesson they were asked to use a strategy we have learned in the unit. These are the multiple strategies they used. Other than the top left 10-frame the students wrote it!

Our class volunteer, Mrs. Rita, is amazing! She reached out to her community and they purchased scoop chairs for every student for group time, and all of the trade books for 1st grade CKLA Knowledge for the whole year! So thankful! @TransylvaniaSch @tchscitech #1stgrade
