I recreated a GTA 6 driving clip in GTA 5, and the physics are NOT the same thing.
I analysed that GTA 5 jumps. It’s light, quick off the line, and sticks when you ask it to. The GTA 6 clip sits. You can feel the weight transfer through the suspension, and the rear slips before catching itself. That’s the GTA 4 feeling I wanted back, without every corner turning into a fight.
It’s GTA 4 weight + GTA 5 accessibility, with a completely rebuilt physics system and more control over tyres and suspension. After seeing them side by side, I believe Rockstar.
Glad they merged the two. I did NOT want GTA 6 to drive like a toy.
