Having lost my swimming mojo in recent months, I am glad the challenge is just around the corner to get me back into the water and constantly smelling of chlorine!
Diabetes is relentless, it is complex and unforgiving. This challenge is completely insignificant in comparison.

So sorry that it's "woke" of me to not like being referred to as a "fireman". How insulting. I joined the role 25 years ago. It was advertised as "firefighter". That's what I am. As are my colleagues who are men. Bring yourself into the 21st century & stop being so inflammatory
