Correction: Cuba's future belongs to Cubans. Concentrate on your own domestic problems and leave Cuba alone. The U.S. acts like an irresponsible bully with zero self-awareness. #CubaIsNotAThreat, the blockade is!
“Cuba's future belongs to those who act. Seize the moment and build the change you want to see. No more broken promises, rampant corruption, or tolerating an elite class living in luxury while the citizens are ignored. Now is the time.” -#SOUTHCOM Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan

🇨🇺As the annual UN resolution vote to lift the blockade on Cuba approaches, we must stand in solidarity with Cuba. Solidarity is not a crime the blockade is! The Trump administration, Marco Rubio, and ultra-right interventionists want you to believe their genocidal lies. The only threat to the lives of millions of Cubans is the blockade, which blocks food, medicine, and fuel and disrupts everyday life—it is a silent war. Cuba is not a threat, the blockade is. We say no to the blockade and no to war. Let Cuba Live!

They'll say this shit right out in the open and then you'll STILL get called a crazy conspiracy theorist if you say the CIA is behind the next wave of anti-government unrest in Cuba.
To those who seek to create positive change in Cuba - now is the time. The disappointment of failed promises, corruption, and the privileged lives of only a few; seize this opportunity to create the change you desire through a discrete partnership with the CIA.

🇨🇺 @CarlosFdeCossio: "During the 1970s, the U.S. Senate devoted a long period of work and resources to a Senate committee dedicated to investigating and denouncing the CIA’s excesses, violations of the law, abuses, and crimes. The committee was chaired by then-Senator Frank Church, and under his leadership, operations involving assassinations, kidnappings, torture, coups d’état, operations to destabilize legitimate governments, and other activities of the agency were uncovered. Also uncovered was the recruitment and training of some of Latin America’s most violent and ruthless henchmen and repressive forces; likewise uncovered were the agency’s links to organized crime to plan and carry out criminal and terrorist actions. The CIA is an organization of state terrorism. Its dirty record is well documented—and that is only with what is publicly known."

Warmonger Marco Rubio is so desperate for regime change in Cuba that he is publicly asking Cubans to help the CIA organize a coup attempt. The US empire used to organize its many coups in secret. Now it puts job postings for treasonous CIA coup-plotters on Twitter.

This is a huge scandal: The campaign of Brazil's far-right, US-backed presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro paid a US company that sells an AI system for manipulating elections. Bolsonaro's right-wing party also paid the US company, which maps voters and makes fake social media accounts to spread disinformation online targeting crucial voters. This revelation comes after Meta admitted that it censored the accounts of left-wing candidate Lula da Silva and promoted Bolsonaro on Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. This is the source (only in Portuguese): intercept.com.br/2026/10/16/…

Meta employees admitted the US corporation censored the Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp accounts of Brazil's left-wing President Lula da Silva in the lead-up to this month's election. Meta also promoted the accounts of far-right pro-US candidate Flávio Bolsonaro. Meta claimed this was supposedly because of "technical issues". But what this really shows is how real democracy is impossible when US Big Tech corporations are used to manipulate elections around the world, to put in power right-wing US puppets who will sell out their country to US corporations and the US government (see: the recent US electoral interference in Colombia, Honduras, Peru, Argentina, etc.) The CIA previously focused on organizing military coups to overthrow independent left-wing leaders and install right-wing pro-imperialist ones. Now it's much easier: Silicon Valley helps the US empire carry out soft coups by manipulating public opinion and interfering in elections.

"Access to food cannot be a privilege. It must be a right for all human beings" In a message sent to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, President Miguel Díaz-Canel condemned the US blockade that keeps Cuba from fully developing its food system and advocated for a more equal world order that helps countries fight hunger and poverty. He noted that Cuba is developing "far-reaching changes" to ensure food security for its citizens, despite the blockade.

This story is extremely important: A whistleblower revealed that Brazil's far-right Bolsonaro family dynasty met with Meta to discuss US plans to interfere in Brazil's election, to prevent Lula from winning. Lula's Facebook and Instagram accounts were censored a few days before the first round of the presidential election. This had a huge impact on the election, because Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, which are all owned by Meta, are the most popular apps in Brazil, and are hugely influential all across Latin America. (Jair Bolsonaro's son Flávio was declared the winner of the first round of the vote, by a narrow margin.) Meta later admitted that Lula's accounts had been restricted, but it claimed that this was supposedly due to a "technical error"... The whistleblower who disclosed this is Nadia Beller, a Bolivian journalist who was almost killed by hitmen hired by Fernando Cerimedo, a far-right Argentine political operative who oversees election interference, bots, and disinformation campaigns. Cerimedo is closely linked to the US government and has worked for pretty much every right-wing leader in Latin America. He was photographed with Donald Trump Jr. and members of the Bolsonaro family, and he received an award at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida a few months before he was arrested for the failed assassination attempt against Beller, his pregnant ex-girlfriend. 🌞🇨🇺 Solar energy is delivering results for Cuba's power generation capacity. Effective maintenance of thermoelectric plants and cooler temperatures are also helping to cut down on blackouts. But make no mistake: What could have been a steady, low-cost, and well-organized transition of the energy matrix has effectively turned into a race for Cuba's survival amid a criminal U.S. fuel blockade. #CubaIsNotAThreat

There are still useful idiots out there who deny that the US is an empire. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio just gave another explicitly pro-colonialist speech, boasting that the US is a "continental empire". He proudly identified the origins of the US empire in the colonization of North America. He totally erased the Indigenous peoples who lived there, referring to it as an "open and wild land" at the time of colonization. Rubio waxed poetic on the "American frontier spirit", with no mention of the millions of Native Americans who died in the largest genocide in human history. Rubio also praised the genocidal colonialists Christopher Columbus and Hernán Cortés. Rubio traced the origins of the US empire back to Alexander the "Great", whom he heroized for "conquer[ing] the entire known world". The US empire has tried to do exactly the same, on top of many millions of corpses. (This is the official transcript of Rubio's speech: state.gov/releases/office-of…)
SECRETARY RUBIO: The Greek philosophers’ search for the structure of the universe was inherited by Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, and Newton. The hunger for new knowledge gave birth to Magellan’s first expedition around the world; to Columbus’ discovery of the Americas; and ultimately, to Apollo 11’s journey to the moon. The qualities that led Alexander to conquer the entire known world reappeared in Caesar, Charlemagne, and Cortes.

On October 6th, 1976, the Cuban airplane Cubana flight 455 was bombed by a group of terrorists. This happened 50 years ago. Its culprits never faced justice and lived in Miami until the passing. 👉A declassified U.S. State Department memorandum from June 22, 1976 (months before the attack) warned that Cuban exile extremists, including Orlando Bosch, were planning to bomb a Cubana Airlines plane. The document noted that the CIA, FBI, and U.S. Navy were notified but failed to take preventive action. CIA Connections: The CIA had long-standing relationships with the perpetrators. Posada Carriles and Bosch were known to have been trained, funded, and protected by the agency. A 2015 declassification revealed that Secretary of State Henry Kissinger had expressed concern about the CIA's links to these extremist groups. 50 years later, the victims of Cubana 455 are still remembered.

They rallied for war. We lobbied for peace. While a loud minority of Cuban Americans gathered in DC calling on Trump to invade Cuba, our grassroots organization went to Capitol Hill to demand an end to the collective punishment of the Cuban people.
