I'm not sure how I feel about these racial changes in WoW Forever.
And this isn't coming from Alliance bias. I'm genuinely questioning the direction here. Are these changes based on endgame data, class performance, or something else?
Humans are losing Crit% for more Spirit, but Holy Paladins already rely heavily on Crit, especially with Illumination being nerfed to accommodate a Shock-focused playstyle.
Meanwhile, Tauren are getting even faster. Are we considering how that interacts with movement speed consumables and boot enchant? Hunters and Druids could become incredibly oppressive in open-world PvP.
I worry these changes could push even more players toward Horde.
I'd really like to see the reasoning behind these decisions, because racial balance deserves a much closer look before launch.

I really was living my fishing life in these WoW Forever streets ππ£π
Had to make sure the ocean wasn't bugged π
I'm a little concerned that RP-PvP servers in WoW Forever could eventually suffer the same fate as Crusader Strike did in Season of Discovery, where the RP identity slowly fades and the realm essentially becomes a regular PvP server.
I genuinely want RP-PvP servers to succeed, but I think the only way to preserve that identity is by actually enforcing the RP ruleset.
The challenge? You can't realistically micromanage thousands of players, and not everyone is interested in roleplaying when WoW is primarily driven by PvE and PvP content.
I know some streamers plan to embrace RP with their communities, and I genuinely hope it works out.
But I'm skeptical about its long-term sustainability. We've seen communities demand certain features, only for the excitement to fade a few months later.
I hope WoW Forever proves me wrong. I'd love to see a thriving RP-PvP community that actually lasts.
We'll see how it plays out π€·π»ββοΈ
Nothing to see here amigos in WoW Forever, just Thunderaan in Durotar...
P.S - IDK WTF IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW π
But it sure is a fun time lol
Today's WoW Forever Podcast was VERY interesting.
The developers shared some important insights while addressing the future of content beyond Level 30 once the beta concludes.
But I still have some big questions.
What happens to certain classes and specs at Level 60? What's the long-term vision for class balance, viability, and keeping the community satisfied?
More importantly, once the meta is established, what prevents players from prioritizing only the strongest classes and specs while leaving others behind?
These are important conversations worth having as we move closer to launch.
I dive into these questions and much more in today's episode found below! Much luv amigos ππ»

Here is my message to all WoW Forever players before I rest tonight amigos.
Stop worrying about a Level 30 tier list. Tier lists are snapshots in time, and we all know how much changes at 60 in Classic WoW.. I am more than sure much change will come in WoW Forever, in regards to PVE & PVP.
We donβt know the full picture yet: set bonuses, gearing, itemization, or optimal builds. Don't depend on Sims to define your class choice. Pick the class YOU want to have fun on. Relax, enjoy the leveling journey, and have fun unlocking your abilities. We can properly judge balance or heck even a *tier list* at 60 once we have all the pieces.
For now, enjoy the final days of beta, then take that much-needed two-week vacation before the official release on November 4th.
Gotta get these gains in for preparation of WoW Forever before November 4th!

Tbh man, I really don't like seeing the comments under @nohitjerome replies.
Did he mess up and take it too far? Sure. But people make mistakes, and he was obviously bummed about how things went. Jerome also never felt the pressure of high stake pvp and was taking this serious throughout the week.
Dude was working his ASS off, staying up late, running his own tournaments, and putting in hours to deliver content for the community. People don't realize how much work goes into creating content consistently. If you think it's easy, try doing it yourself.
Jerome, you pushed too far, but that doesn't make you a bad person. You had a bad night, and I hope you learn from it and keep moving forward.
Much luv, dog. π―
Came down to the wire with this one! I definitely couldβve shielded earlier, but I donβt normally play Priest and Iβm still learning. π
That being said, we finished the tournament 3-3 overall! ππ»
Had a great time competing and being part of everything. I know thereβs been a lot of drama surrounding the tournament lately, but at the end of the day, I love dueling and canβt wait to get back on Paladin and keep improving.
WoW Forever is gonna be a fun time! π―
The PVP Tournament is about to go down in WoW Forever!
It's been a fun BETA so far and looking forward to the official November 4th release ππ»
Good luck to all competitors ππ»

WoW Forever Juicer Edition π€π»
This is my 1st collector's edition ever for WoW. Happy to start somewhere.
I listened to @AggrendWoW podcast today regarding RP-PvP servers, and I think the WoW Forever forums are having a lot of discourse around it right now.
Personally, I think the developers are heading in the right direction. Time has shown that RP servers can eventually become just another place to play the game, with the RP aspect taking a backseat to completionists, streamers, their communities, and the natural flow of gameplay.
Thatβs not inherently a bad thing, and I have nothing against RP servers. I just think demand for a dedicated ruleset can come with time. Right now, I believe getting the core product into a strong, working state should be the priority.
Just my two cents amigos ππ»
TL:DR Video here: youtube.com/watch?v=2ikBlj97β¦
For those who don't know @arkaviun is one of the realest mfs Iβve had the pleasure of getting to know. He never backs down from a duel and is WELL known in the WoW community.
It sucks seeing him banned from this WoW Forever tournament, especially when heβs one of the few creators who, from what Iβve seen, hasnβt relied on gold handouts or RMT.
He deserves a fair shot to get back in the race π―
The integrity of a Level 30 tournament is ruined when anything beyond Level 30 gear or 225 profession skill is allowed to influence the competition. From what I understand, the rules have now been updated so professions canβt go past 225, which is good.
That being said, the level of sweat leading up to this tournament is insane. People are intentionally hiding strats and tech just to keep an advantage until tournament day.
This is a BETA. We should be testing things, finding bugs, and reporting issues to help improve the game, not treating every discovery like a competitive secret.
Then bigger creators wonder why so many people get annoyed with them. Maybe we should stop giving people reasons to be. π€·π»ββοΈ
Just saying.

With $100k on the line, participants in the tournament are doing anything for an edge.
@pikaboowow theorizes about what Ziqo is doing in Un'Goro Crater as a level 30.
Something that @Shobektv said really stuck with me.
WoW Forever and this PvP tournament shouldβve considered a Solo Self-Found mode. Most of the drama from the past week couldβve been avoided, and Iβm happy people are getting banned according to Blizzard. Not every streamer is guilty of RMT, but actions are happening regardless.
SSF needs to be heavily considered going forward. It would also give streamers a safe space free from the RMT/handout fiasco, in which the community is exhausted by already.

He is ABSOLUTELY 100% correct.
I think the fact that every duel requires 10+ consumes/scrolls just to stop dispels/purges, and that these are even needed to compete in the first place, is ridiculous.
It makes this tournament only benefit those with a lot of gold. Iβm not kidding when I say you need 100+ gold or more just to step foot into this thing. Enchants, Multiple Sets per duel, not considering SR against casters, etc.
Skill aside, thereβs a HUGE money factor that steers a lot of people away from even wanting to compete. Maybe just have some LOS/pillar play and the occasional FAP/grenade or engineering item.
I just think itβs way too much is all Iβm saying. Ban most of the consumes/items and this tournament is no longer based on whose bags are heavier, but skill alone.

There's been some discussion on what should/should not be allowed in the dueling tournament in terms of consumes.
Cdew shows the insane amount of consumes he'll be using for his matches.
Ima say it straight up, with all due respect to the competitors farming their own gold: this $100K tournament wouldβve been way better if SSF was an option.
I know farming gold in a beta sucks, but itβs also VERY easy to make gold if you know what youβre doing. Iβve farmed 100g in a night and a half from FISHING alone in Tanaris & Southern STV. Mithril Bound Trunks have mats everyone is needing for this tourny.
The drama surrounding this tournament wouldβve been a lot less if SSF was an option to celebrate the release.
Just my thoughts.

Snutz has a gold tracker open in the Valley of Honor, accepts a trade as chat shouts, tells the guys this gold is more homegrown than anything, and asks how much they have.
Just uploading this recording of "The Layering Issue" in WoW Forever atm. I definitely think Blizzard will come around to adjusting this in time. However, it's definitely pretty wonky atm π
The video doesn't lie. I am literally phasing in and out of people.
