Love this - you can find maths for kids everywhere. Setting the table is a great example as it teaches the concept of one-to-one correspondence.
Got some more ideas for starting very young kids here bit.ly/2VXSGIY and these can be adapted as they grow...🌱🌳
Math Snack: When setting the table, gather information and make decisions. "Can you find out what everyone wants to drink? Let’s count how many people want milk and how many people want water."

The First Maths Challenge is starting this year, a precursor to the Primary Maths Challenge. Get in quick, because you need to order packs for tests in June/July. This is a great way to engage and enthuse kids about maths.
