Unbelievable. The most corrupt president in U.S. history created a “fraud whistleblower program.” Ok. Let’s blow the whistle. Trump has: Illegally accepted a $400 million plane from Qatar Got $1.4 billion richer from crypto scams Used taxpayer money for TV ads That’s fraud!

🚨 The whole world needs to hear these words from Zelenskyy: “Of course, we are not losing this war, but we are losing people and time. And it's heartbreaking, because our children don't have a normal life, they don't have a childhood,” says the Ukrainian president, whose country is now experiencing something that feels very much like betrayal.

If Musk is responsible for weakening Ukraine's defenses at this critical time, his businesses need to be excluded from any critical infrastructure in Europe. Not as a sanction, but as self-protection.

When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations. Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult. Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth. From a speech at the Warsaw Security Forum. (3/3)

Ukraine Now Has Leverage Over Trump For years, Washington could control Kyiv with one threat: do as we say or lose American support. Trump has thrown that power away. He cut the aid so deeply that Europe now pays most of Ukraine’s bills, which means Ukraine has far less to lose by ignoring him. At the same time, Ukraine has found something Trump badly needs. Its drone strikes on Russian refineries are helping push up diesel prices, and high fuel prices could cost Republicans the midterms. Trump knows it, which is why he has pressed Kyiv to stop the attacks. So ask the obvious question: why would Ukraine help him? He cut its aid and eased sanctions on Russian fuel. Ukraine can simply keep hitting refineries for its own military reasons and let American voters, 62 percent of whom side with Ukraine according to Economist/YouGov, punish Trump for the price at the pump. Trump once told Zelensky he didn’t have the cards. I’d say he’s holding a pretty good hand now.
Ukraine needs to go all in on taking out russian oil refineries to fuck over both Trump and Putin. This should be one of Ukraine’s top strategic priorities.

this Richy situation is further proof that a substantial slice of our fanbase just loves to abuse our players. Criticism is fair but this outright abuse is despicable & it def won’t make richy leave or make any of our players play better

Poland once helped liberate the Netherlands, and we thanked them by spending decades mispronouncing their commander's name. During the Second World War, thousands of Polish soldiers fought their way across Western Europe after their own country had been occupied by both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Among them was the Polish 1st Armoured Division under General Stanisław Maczek. In 1944 they entered the Netherlands. Their most famous Dutch chapter came at Breda. Maczek wanted to liberate the city while avoiding unnecessary destruction and civilian casualties, so his troops manoeuvred around German positions rather than simply flattening their way through them. On 29 October, Breda was liberated. The city survived remarkably intact. The people of Breda responded with Polish flags and signs reading: “Dziękujemy Wam Polacy.” “Thank you, Poles.” There is something bittersweet about what followed. The Dutch could celebrate their liberation, but many of the Polish soldiers couldn't simply go home. Poland had fallen under Soviet domination, and men who had fought from Poland through France, Belgium and the Netherlands suddenly found that the country they had been fighting for was no longer a place to which all of them could safely return. Maczek eventually settled in Scotland. But his connection to the Netherlands never disappeared. When he died in 1994 at the age of 102, he was buried, according to his wishes, among his soldiers at the Polish military cemetery in Breda. Even today, Breda remembers its Polish liberators. For Dutch people, Poland can sometimes feel like that large country somewhere beyond Germany whose language appears to have been deliberately designed without enough vowels. But buried in Dutch soil are men who travelled an extraordinary distance to help give us our country back. Some neighbours are closer than the map suggests.

When the USSR collapsed, all the countries that had been behind the 'iron curtain' - the Warsaw pact countries - became democratic and elected their leaders, replacing the leaders that the USSR had imposed on them since 1948 These newly elected governments, aware of how ruthless their USSR puppet governments had been, decided to join NATO, to defend themselves against the return of Russian domination This spread of democracy panicked the Russians, who feared that democracy might dismantle the authoritarian tradition that has been in place there since the Communists set out to impose Communism on the rest of the world Or, later, in the case of Putin, his aim to create the USSR once again
For those still in denial that NATO expansion had anything to do with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, have a look at declassified files showing Britain’s Ministry of Defence prepared for war with Russia after expanding Nato – 26 years before the invasion. declassifieduk.org/uk-knew-n…

Some celebrating Romero leaving have forgotten.... Man of the Match in a European final, dragged us through it, pulled the whole team into a huddle in the United end like a real leader. He fought the board on topics we complained about. No chance against English media and refs.
