My wife Karen has invented this genius device for removing bumble bees from the house. It’s basically a long stick with a bit of cloth on the end which she soaks in sugar water as needed. The bee will inevitably clamber on and is thus rescued/ejected into the garden.
I have to say, once you start to get comfortable over at "the other place", this hellsite does seem very very odd when you dip back in.

Mmhmm. I'm sure this story is entirely motivated by concern for standards in governance, rather than - say - vendettas related to events of the last few years.

Jeez. I'm not an expert in governance, but this sounds... really really bad. Big questions to answer for Sunak and the Conservative Party here.

Over the following weeks, senior civil servants felt the prisons crisis was so severe that cabinet secretary Simon Case chaired emergency Cobra meetings on how to respond himself.

"Only a matter of time". Maybe, maybe not; he's not even #1 currently. Let's see Alcaraz dominate the game from now to 2029 before we compare him to Federer; he's made an extraordinary start, but right now he's still got a long way to go. theguardian.com/sport/articl…
