One of GTA VI’s most interesting getaway vehicles might be a city bus.
Rockstar’s Phil Hooker explained that if police don’t see you board, they have no reason to search the bus once you’ve left the wanted area. He’s even memorized the routes while testing.
I love that escaping the cops can reward thinking instead of just driving faster. #GTA6
GTA VI's nightlife looks like a whole game on its own.
Rooftop parties, packed nightclubs, street parties, and Vice City glowing after dark.
I can already see myself spending hours doing absolutely nothing related to the main story.

GTA VI's physical edition won't have a disc, but Rockstar is releasing a free printable map of Leonida on launch day.
Never thought we'd have to supply the paper ourselves to keep the GTA map tradition alive.
One thing I'm really looking forward to in GTA VI is doing absolutely nothing.
No missions. No police chases.
Just driving around Vice City, finding a nice spot, listening to the radio and watching the world go by.
Sometimes that's the best part of an open-world game.
A German supermarket's system apparently lists “GTA Donuts” for €0.79.
GTA VI hype has reached the snack department.
I was expecting billboards, trailers and massive launch events. Not pastries.
Would you actually buy one just because it says GTA?

GTA VI hasn't even launched yet, but it's already forcing some PS5 owners into a tough decision.
@PlaystationSize reports that the game's minimum firmware requirement has moved from 14.10 to 14.22, Sony's latest security update.
For most players, it's a routine update. But for those keeping older firmware for jailbreak and homebrew access, updating could mean losing that access just to play GTA VI.
Rockstar hasn't officially confirmed the requirement.
Give me awkward silences during car rides, arguments that carry over into missions, and Jason and Lucia still having to rob banks together.
That's the kind of relationship system I'd love to see in GTA VI.
Rockstar isn’t forcing Jason and Lucia to stay in a relationship. Players will be able to decide how things develop.
Rockstar co-studio head Rob Nelson explained the idea to Edge Magazine:
“We start them wanting to be together, and wanting to give this relationship of theirs another shot. But, as the game progresses, it’s yours to keep or yours to lose.”
This idea actually comes from Red Dead Redemption 2 and Arthur Morgan.
Rockstar wanted characters to feel like real people with their own thoughts and feelings
Nelson gave Arthur as an example. In RDR2, players had to decide whether to spend money on themselves or donate it to help the gang.
“But what if these characters want something else?”
GTA 6 takes that idea further. Ignore too many of your partner’s late-night calls or neglect the relationship, and Jason and Lucia could end up splitting up.
GTA VI’s expensive cars can snitch on you.
According to Edge, some high-end vehicles can transmit their location to the police.
The WAINK app lists specific cars wanted by criminal buyers, including their security systems and whether they're tracked.
Your payout depends partly on the car's condition when delivered. Buyers usually use signal blockers at the drop-off to stop the tracking.
Stealing the car is one thing. Getting it to the buyer without wrecking it or bringing the cops along is another.
Your SHIRT could get you caught in GTA VI.
According to Edge, cops track your clothing, weapons and CCTV sightings.
Change outfits, ditch your gun or split up with Lucia, and their description gets weaker while you're still escaping.
Imagine pulling that off during a police chase.

Forget the dog poop for a second. LOOK AT THAT BEACH in GTA VI🏖️
The beach is packed. NPCs walking along the shoreline, hanging out, reacting to what's happening around them.
And this is just the background of a 17-second South Park clip.
Vice Beach is looking ridiculously alive.
Yesterday I wrote about GTA VI letting Jason pet a dog.
Today South Park shows him attacking someone with dog poop in actual Rockstar footage.
This game really has range. 😂
I went back through Rockstar’s GTA VI footage and found five little details worth pausing for.
One of them goes all the way back to the original GTA.
GTA V shipped on SEVEN DVDs in 2015 and needed 65GB of storage on PC.
GTA V Enhanced now requires 105GB of SSD space.
And GTA VI is reportedly a massive 210GB download on PS5, though Rockstar hasn't officially confirmed it yet.
If that number holds, GTA VI alone would take up nearly a third of the original PS5's usable storage.
