Israel is a vibrant democracy where all Israeli Muslim, Jewish, Atheist and Jewish women/men/human can vote freely in the Middle East and all have an equal vote. That includes over 2 million Arab and the entire diverse citizens in Israel. Turnout kept climbing!

Today, 5.5 million Jewish, Christian, and, notably, Arab Israelis participated in the only democracy in the Middle East. This was the highest turnout the country has seen in nearly 3 decades.
While we won’t know the final results tonight, today’s elections could make history, with Arab parties projected to win 18 seats, up from the 10 they hold currently. These projections reflect the importance of strong democracies.
I will continue to stand up for Israel and champion a strong U.S.-Israel relationship in Congress. The elections in Israel today are a further reminder of the shared values of our two nations. Am Yisrael Chai.
Today marks eight years since the deadliest attack on Jews in American history took place at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. Never forget the victims and never stop fighting the antisemitism that unfortunately continues to fuel violence against Jews today.

This afternoon in Coral Gables, I got to vote with my mom by my side. 💞
My parents taught me that voting is how we stand up for the things we love: our family, our community, our country. Watching her drop her ballot in the box today, I was reminded why I'm in this fight.
