The stats on vehicle increases on Blackstock Road (12K to 19K+ a day) show the devastating displacement caused by LTNs, a pattern of traffic relocation repeated all over London. The blinkered council approach that LTNs are the answer now what’s the question needs to stop & fast.

Holloway Road now looks like this all the time at any time of day. More pollution for those working, living and commuting along this road. Why does no one care?

@IslingtonBC We need an emergency public meeting to consider the impact of these works on the community that is hemmed in by the ltn’s and the gridlock on Holloway Road. Please organise an urgent public meeting so you can hear directly the distress that residents are facing.

@IslingtonBC the top of Highbury Hill appears to be closed (despite signs saying access only) but the camera on Martineau/HHill appears to be still in operation. Not sure why the sign is there as you can’t go through that camera anyway!! 🧐@RowChampion @CarolineRussell
In fact the diversion signs are unclear but seem to be sending cars through the cameras. Please can someone @IslingtonBC confirm that the cameras are closed. As usual total disorganisation and no planning. Shoddy
