Researchers should understand that by running experiments on a model/system they have no clue what data it was trained on nullifies results because they can't correct & control for data contamination - test data being present in the training set.

This also came across in the research that there were speciality specific signs of deterioration that may not be picked up in a generic NEWS so a heavy reliance on NEWS may mean those things were missed.

A very small suggestion for improvement. In Health doctors (medicine) are mentioned but not dentists.
The share of EU dentist in 2016 was twice as high as the share of EU doctors in medicine. (source GMC versus GDC numbers). Hence Brexit impact on dentistry far greater.

There is no open source AI unless the training data is open source. Training data consists of symbols that change the behaviour of the system, they are symbolic instructions & part of the source. There is no need to change the open source definition to fit in with vendor wishes.
