A really delightful way to spend an afternoon - ending with a home made tea! facebook.com/reel/1831383838…

We had a most enjoyable concert for the Leighton Buzzard Music Club last Saturday. Here is our next sortie: a fabulous church with a good organ and a fine acoustic. Do join us if you are within range!

Much looking forward to directing one of my favourite pieces in the glorious surroundings of this lovely church. A joy to make music with so many friends and one of the finest organists in the UK. Do come if you can!

A lovely new Festival in the glorious surroundings of rural Wiltshire. Do look at the Website and join us for whatever tickles your fancy: great - and varied - music offerings, good food and wine and an exploration of the countryside! artsprofessional.co.uk/.../c…...

Do join us for this intriguing concert; as usual with the excellent English music Festival it contains rarities which are shamefully neglected but truly enjoyable music. It is always a delight to make music with the Godwine Choir, but this will be a particular pleasure.....

A truly wise philosophy.... facebook.com/reel/9987194294…

An exceptional concert to which I am much looking forward. Strongly recommended; it is a most intriguing sound world and it will be a very special evening. Do join me in the audience!

A true MozartFest in the Stables MK - 3 masterpieces in one evening. Do join us! alinaorchestra.com/concert/m…

She's on death row. Her crime? Peaceful humanitarian and human rights work, helping displaced women and children in Syria. Join this urgent call to Iran's Head of Judiciary demanding her release. #FreePakhshanAzizi secure.avaaz.org/campaign/en…

Great weekend for Alina Orchestra, working with 8 talented 'emerging conductors': one from Brazil via Paris, one from Dublin, one from Australia via London and 5 from all over the UK. Each showed real promise; perhaps more importantly they all manifestly improved over the w/end.

Still buzzing from the Alina Choir 'Celestial Sounds' concert in the beautiful surroundings of Little St Mary's in Cambridge last Sunday. An intense weekend of preparation, but the performance of the Schütz Musikalische Exequien was gripping - what a piece!

A great occasion at The Venue MK on Saturday. Proof that music brings us together in a divided world. Western classical music (inc. Mozart 40) together with skilled arrangements of Arabic melodies. Do come to celebrate our common humanity with music! alinaorchestra.com/concert/e…

Last call for Sunday's Spectacular in Camberley. Hugely looking forward to making music with Crispian again; no one makes a better sound on the trumpet. Programme ranges from Purcell to Bacharach on Flugelhorn, with tea and cake afterwards. Free parking at the church too!

A post of true triviality. I am trying buy something from Hawes & Curtis UK and I wish to use 'Click and Collect'. Despite being offered on the Website, it cannot be done - and the usual £5 delivery charge will be applied. No explanation, no apology. Customer Service hopeless.

Delighted to be interviewed by The Stage magazine about my current crusade: thestage.co.uk/news/conducto… This really ought to be high on @bphillipsonMP's agenda. Music is not just good for people - it improves all other outcomes as well.

The Golden Oldies strut their stuff again! Do join us if you are within distance of Camberley; these duo recitals are always great fun and there will be tea afterwards. Ticket details are on the poster.

Last call for this lovely concert tonight. The wonderful Becky Bottone singing Berlioz's glorious 'Nuits d'Eté' and one of Mozart's most optimistic symphonies. Only a few seats remain - it should be a very special evening: alinaorchestra.com/concert/s…
