[105 pm] Here is an update on the severe weather potential for tonight. No change in timing, but the potential for more significant thunderstorm winds has increased.
Severe thunderstorms are possible tonight between 10 pm and 4 am. Damaging straight-line winds, some possibly in excess of 70 mph, is the primary threat. However, isolated tornadoes are possible as well. There is a moderate risk (category 4 out of 5) across east central Indiana. An enhanced risk (3 out of 5) is as far east as a line from Columbus to Maysville. A slight risk (2 out of 5) is for the rest of the area.

A road closure is in place on KY 3716 (Wayman Branch Road) in Kenton County to allow maintenance crews to repair a slide. The daily closure starts Today, March 20 and will continue until Monday, April 3. The closure will be in place during working hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Pay attention to your home barometer today as pressure will drop dramatically as the deep low pressure moves in. Pressure below 980mb is possible, which would be some of the lowest in our area since the Blizzard of '78. Result? Strong wind inside and outside of storms!
