There should be a teacher on every school boardβ¦
and at every table where education decisions are made.
Because right now, weβre making policies for classrooms
without the people who actually live in them.
You wouldnβt design a hospital system without doctors.
You wouldnβt build a plane without pilots.
But in educationβ¦
we leave teachers out of the room
Supporting teachers isnβt one-size-fits-allβand strong leadership
recognizes that.
Are we differentiating our support the same way we expect teachers to differentiate for students? Are we creating a culture where asking for help is safe, not stigmatized?
