Nic was at Frays River today. Waders on and 300 metres downstream from Fairlight Drive towards Fountains Mill. 3 shopping trolleys, a dozen Fastgas, 1 headboard, and 11 sacks of other stuff. It’s looking much better but there’s still a lot more to do.

More Hillingdon UB10 rubbish. 1 sack from Coney Green, 1 from Uxbridge Rd and 10 plus a dozen Fastgas from Buckingham Grove/Cedars Drive. Nic ran out of bags due to double-bagging food waste, he was not expecting so much rubbish.

A few of the hot spots on the river bank but mainly the road and verges adjoining the river. The section is the border between @LBofHounslow & @Hillingdon so, sadly for the River Crane, no mans land on the regular street cleaning programme! 😬 We need to sort that. ⭐

Nic was out and about for a 2 1/2 hour session in Hillingdon UB10.
Yet more filth and urban decay with some bramble wading thrown in.
12 sacks of rubbish and five Fastgas recovered.

Another session for Nic in Ickenham. He gave the entrance to the park a good clean and got to work on the bridleway along with parts of the river bank . Various tat recovered along with 8 sacks of other stuff. It should look stunning in the woods once the bluebells flower.

A huge thank you to Nic who tackled some of Ickenham yesterday. He cleared the A40 eastbound slip, the woods and Swakeleys Drive. Boggy, wet and hard work! 13 sacks in all.

Andrew had quite a few outings this week. Fine Bush Lane cleaned again plus local around Ruislip, This morning he redid Breakspear Road South, three weeks after he last did it. 4 bags of rubbish, 2 of recyclables, 2 Fastgas and car parts.

Martyn and Tess attacked the A40 westbound off the sliproad heading for Hillingdon Circus. They just did some of the first half of the stretch from the A40 but still plenty left. It’s been relieved of 18 bags and quite a bit of other tat, so we’ll done to them. 👏🏻

Nics 2nd outing of the day, Court Park. People on the the Nextdoor app complaining about Court Park and Swakeleys Park but very few do anything about it . Six sacks of rubbish and two bins repacked. Everything double bagged. Well done Nic 👏🏻

Nic cleared the last pocket of Uxbridge detritus before the vicious cycle repeats. 14 sacks pulled out today along with litter, dog-poo bags, dustbins and other tat from the river. Looks like a nearby restaurant is dumping waste, all wholesale bags of rice/spices etc.
