This is so sad 😞 rest in peace goat
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lauri “Cyanide" Happonen earlier this year.
During his four-year spell at Fnatic, Cyanide made history as the youngest ever player to win Worlds at just 16. He leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.
Rest in peace, Cyanide. 🧡🖤

[BREAKING] Riot announces League Classic will end after the current season ❌
"We’ll then put Classic back in the box for now, with the goal of bringing it back, likely as an event mode with adjustments and additions."
"We are issuing refunds on Classic-specific content that will no longer be usable, and shipping the Act II Classic Battle Pass in 26.21 with a free track only."

That’s it NLC is officially done. It’s been a weird 6 years with ups and downs, the majority of which have been good. I’m not sure what to say I’m a little sad to see it end. Thank you everyone to everyone involved. As for me I’m not sure what’s next.
See you around old friend
One last time. Make sure you come see the final NLC broadcast 🫡

If I’ve learnt anything from wow classic you don’t miss old league as much as you think you do, you miss being young and sitting on Skype with your mates.
I worry this will get a meta solved in a few days and then it will lose the fun.
What the hell happened in here?! lmao
A few things to note I wasn’t saying wow classic isn’t a success or even bad but it is a massively different experience due to people having more access to knowledge and for some (me) it ruined the magic. 1/2
I try not to post much on twitter anymore as this platform is cooked, but I thought I’d share some photos from my Japan trip! It’s my first proper holiday since 2019
