I'm libertarian until libertarians start talking about annihilating the environment. Libertarians would clear cut the entire Boreal rainforest, every cypress tupelo swamp, and the Amazon for a case of beer. Couldn't care less about wildlife, or millennia of conservation efforts.

Any doctor should have their license to practice taken if it is established they accommodate mental health issues for short-term gratification, rather than treat mental health for long-term well being. It's like giving smokers discounts on cigarettes instead of weaning them.
Attack a police dog, and they can shoot you with justification. If a man attacks your dog, you aren't permitted lethal force to stop him (except in Texas).
Man Killed by San Diego Police After Incendiary Device Sets K-9 on Fire
San Diego, California — On September 16, 2026, at approximately 9 a.m., San Diego Police Department (SDPD) officers responded to a reported vandalism incident near El Cajon Boulevard and Oregon Street in San Diego, California. The reporting party said a man was damaging vehicles with a metal rod. The incident ended in a fatal officer-involved shooting in the 4000 block of 30th Street in the North Park neighborhood, within SDPD’s Mid-City division.
Authorities identified the deceased man as 33-year-old Saul Sandoval Chavez. According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, officers attempted to contact Chavez, but he fled on foot and entered a nearby business, refusing to come out. Officers observed that he was armed with an incendiary device and attempted to negotiate with him.
Police deployed a K-9 during the standoff. When Chavez ignited the incendiary device, setting the police dog on fire, an officer fired multiple rounds, striking Chavez.
Officers immediately provided lifesaving aid. Paramedics transported Chavez to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly before noon. Three SDPD officers sustained burn injuries to their hands and were treated at a hospital before being released. The K-9 also suffered burns and received veterinary treatment.
