I’m hearing from Islington Labour that Praful Nargund’s campaign had such an awful start he’s thinking of quitting. Despite knocking 100s of doors over the weekend they only found 3 people who’d vote for him. Nargund close to tears & an NEC member had to persuade him to carry on.

British activist & journalist Stephen Yaxley-Lennon has been rescued from the sea by the RNLI after falling from a boat & getting into difficulty.
The incident happened this morning off the south coast of England. Mr Yaxley-Lennon has been admitted to a local hospital for checks
